Developing the idea in inkscape using similar technique
The authority (Places) was organized in hierarchy group.
Placing similar number of crimes next to each other.
Also making different variation in background,text colour.
Developing the work independently.

Since there was lots of data and sources we decided to narrow it down to "Places (Local authority) and Crime (What happened?)".

We started working on four major crime committed
. Vandalism - Yellow
. Arson - Red
. Looting - Blue
. Assault - Orange
We then decided to visualize each number of crime using
colour papers. Longer strip represent more crime committed in a particular authority. Crime is measured in centimeters.
Then using colour threads we linked similar events.
